Joy For Jane: Progression

Happy New Year’s Day everyone!

I know some don’t care for it, but it is probably one of the better man-made inventions. For people who need it, it provides them with a sort of ‘fresh-start’, for those who work too hard, it gives them a break, and it brings people together so it’s not so bad.

Personally, I don’t do anything to celebrate, which surprises some people since New Year’s Day is also my birthday. I’m just happy that this is one day I’m guaranteed to see my entire family since we all basically live in separate cities.

Anyway, a day off is a day off. Cheers folks.
